Writing analysis means going back over something you wrote and looking for errors, awkward phrasing, and patterns of mistakes. It's the writing equivalent of Speaking Analysis.
Self-review: Reread your own writing with fresh eyes (ideally after some time has passed). Look for grammar mistakes, unnatural phrasing, and word choice issues. This builds your ability to self-edit.
Tutor review: Bring your writing to a lesson and go over it together. A tutor can explain why something is wrong, not just that it is — which is far more useful for learning. Corrected Reading Aloud
AI correction: Feed your writing into an AI chatbot or grammar checker. These tools are good at catching common errors and explaining the rules. They're not perfect, but they're free or cheap and available anytime.

Writing analysis is introduced in Phase 5B and continues through Phase 7. It's especially important if you want to pass a high-level, formal test or go to school or work in the target language.
